THIS WEEK'S MEMORY VERSE

“What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. ¹⁴Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."

✈️ Commissioning Service for the Hakes Family

Sunday, July 27 | 10:45 AM

During our worship service on July 27, we’ll gather as a church family to commission Sam and Hannah Hakes and their boys, Job and Simon, as they prepare to move to Cameroon. They’ll be serving with ReachGlobal and Create, training African church leaders in producing evangelistic films.
We’ll be joined by Ryan Gerbrandt from ReachGlobal, who will preach the message that morning. Please join us to pray for the Hakes, celebrate their faithfulness, and ask God's blessing over their new ministry. Following the service, please join in the narthex and patio for fellowship and refreshments.  A basket to leave a card of encouragement or a financial gift will be available.

SUMMER STUDY OF THE BIBLE’S ONE-CHAPTER BOOKS

Sundays - 9:30 a.m.

Beginning Sunday, July 6, the Bereans Class will be studying the Bible’s one-chapter books: Obadiah, Philemon, 2 and 3 John, and Jude. Given vacations and travel during the summer, we thought that it would be helpful to spend a week or two on each book without requiring a longer commitment. After discussing the background and context of each book, we’ll dig right into the text. While these books are short, they are mighty.

We meet in the upper level of the Education Building in the area near the kitchen. Wayne Rehnborg and Dave Hazelton will be leading this study.

VBS 2025 – Registration is Open!

July 28–August 1 | 9:30 AM–12:00 PM |
Cornerstone Church

We’re excited to welcome all rising Kindergarten through rising 4th grade children to this year’s Vacation Bible School! It will be a week full of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and fun, all centered on sharing the good news of the gospel.

Volunteer for VBS

VBS can’t happen without your help! We’re looking for both youth and adult volunteers to serve in a variety of roles—leading groups, assisting with activities, or simply helping behind the scenes.
A Nursery/Preschool class will be available for volunteers' children, so you can serve knowing your little ones are well cared for.
Thank you for helping us share the gospel with children this summer!
