The Epistle (06/06/25)
THIS WEEK'S MEMORY VERSE
“The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;”
Psalm 19:7-8“The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.” Psalm 19:9-11

UPCOMING EVENTS:
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS ON EARLY CHRISTIAN CREEDS
Sundays, June 1, 8, 15, and 22, Location TBD
For the first four Sundays in June, Pastor John will be teaching a Sunday school class on the early creeds of the Christianity—their history, biblical basis, theological teaching, and importance for the church today. We will examine the biblical basis for creeds, and then look in turn at the first Creed of Nicaea (AD 325), the Nicene Creed (AD 381), and the Chalcedonian Creed (AD 451). This class will be taught in the Bereans Sunday school class slot. The location may change from the normal Bereans class meeting place (the kitchen side of the fellowship hall) to accommodate technological needs—stay tuned!

IT’S TIME TO REGISTER FOR VBS!
July 28th to August 1st from 9:30 a.m - 12:00 p.m
We’re excited to welcome all rising Kindergarten through rising 4th grade children to this year’s Vacation Bible School! It will be a week full of Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and fun, all centered on sharing the good news of the gospel.
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
VBS can’t happen without your help! We’re looking for both youth and adult volunteers to serve in a variety of roles—leading groups, assisting with activities, or simply helping behind the scenes.
A Nursery/Preschool class will be available for volunteers' children, so you can serve knowing your little ones are well cared for.
Thank you for helping us share the gospel with children this summer!
