Memorial Service for Gino Elsea

November 8th, 2024, 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary

Please join us as we thank God for the life and ministry of our beloved brother Gino Elsea. The memorial service will be followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. As one of Gino’s passions was the church’s mission of making disciples of Jesus among all people, in lieu of flowers, please direct donations in Gino’s memory to the Cornerstone EFC missions fund.

Are you able to help provide for one of our members in need?
One of our Cornerstone members has an urgent need of a donated or inexpensive car for work. Due to employment requirements, the car needs to be a 2015 or newer. If you have a car that you would be willing to donate or sell in monthly installments, or if you know of one, please contact the elders at elders@cornerstoneefree.org as soon as possible. Thank you!

Central Union Mission is preparing for Operation Christmas Miracle, an opportunity to bless families and children struggling financially in our community. If you would like to lead Cornerstone efforts, promote this family giving opportunity, and coordinate receiving and dropping off gifts by December 11.

Ted and Juli Kautzmann, serving faithfully in Costa Rica with ProMETA, have invited a team of Cornerstone members to participate in a summit at the school February 12-16, 2025. This is an opportunity to meet the broader educational team and get to know some of the students and their ministries and the impact ProMETA has had on them. If you are interested in traveling and representing our church family. Partial trip subsidy available.

Adult Sunday School Announcement

Sunday, November 10th, 6pm - Koinonia Room

A new Adult Sunday School class titled "Now We Live" will start on November 10th, led by Steve Nye in the Koinonia Room. This class aims to encourage Christians to actively live out their faith through discussions on important life questions. For more information about this and other adult Sunday School offerings, pick up the October 2024 brochure in the Narthex.
