On Sunday, July 14, Cornerstone-sponsored missionaries Dennis and Lydia Bowen will be sharing an update on their ongoing work to develop and equip Christian counselors in Moldova and the Ukraine. This will include perspectives on the ongoing conflict, counseling during displacement, and the challenges for Ukrainian Believers. The Bowens will share during the 9:30am Sunday school hour in the Overcomers class, first floor of the sanctuary building. Please consider joining this interesting and timely discussion.

During the Sunday School hour over the summer break June 16-August 11, all are invited to join Reading through the Psalms. We will simply read through the books of Psalms. Some materials will be available to create while you listen but you may also bring your own. We will meet in the Sunday School classroom next to the church library.

Beginning on Sunday, June 16, our normal Children’s and Youth Sunday School classes (Kindergarten and up) as well as Kids’ Worship will be taking a break for the summer (June 16-August 11). This is an opportunity to give our volunteers and families a well-deserved rest! Nursery and Pre-K will continue to be available every weekend. There will also be another option during the Sunday School hour, there will be more details available about this opportunity next week. We will resume normal Children’s and Youth Sunday School classes and Kids’ Worship on August 18!

Finances, like any other aspect of life, should be governed with sound principles. The Bible speaks to those basics in clear ways that lead to a life that is balanced in favor of success and Godliness. Care to learn about this? On Sunday, August 18th we are offering a ten-week class during the Sunday School hour (9:30 to 10:30am). The class that will equip you for solid money management by both good principles and effective practices. The materials are from Crown Financial Ministry (a Christian group that has been doing this for 35 years) and cost $33.00 per person (or couple). As Jeff explained at Monday's business meeting, we continue to pray for the Lord to fill our part-time Music Director position. We will be hosting Vacation Bible School this year on August 5th-9th, 9:30am-12:00pm. Registration is open! You can register your kids (K-4th) for VBS using the link below!
