The Epistle (03/21/25)

THIS WEEK'S MEMORY VERSE

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord ”
Romans 8:38-39

SERVE REFUGEE FAMILIES: JOIN OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD TEAM IN ALEXANDRIA!

For the Nations DC has an immediate need for two childcare workers to serve in our daytime early childhood program. This part-time role (about 9 hours per week) provides a safe and nurturing space for the children of our adult ESOL students during morning English classes, enabling parents to focus on their studies. This position is perfect for homeschooling teens with flexible schedules or mothers with a child ages 2.5.-5 (on-site childcare may be available).
If you have a heart for cross-cultural ministry and have experience working with children, apply today at ftndc.org/careers.

ELECTRONIC LOCK SYSTEM

Cornerstone has activated an electronic lock system to access buildings on our campus.  There are four doors equipped with this system: Sanctuary building (Ground level Offices and Narthex Door on the Parking Lot side); Education building (Breezeway); and Youth building (Sanctuary side).  The purpose of the system is to improve safety and security, maintain accountability, and control access in real time. The system utilizes a mobile app you will need to download on your smart phone.

Current keys will continue to work until all exterior doors are rekeyed beginning March 31st.  After March 30th, access to the buildings will require use of the electronic system.  Anyone needing to access Cornerstone buildings when they are normally locked can request access privileges by completing an application at: https://cornerstoneefree.org/building-access-request. All applications will be reviewed by the Elders for approval.
