Eligibility for Membership
According to our church constitution, “Any person who professes faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord; whose character, conduct, and reputation by God’s grace, conform therewith; and to promote our unity and purpose as a church, who agrees to abide by and support this Constitution and the Bylaws of this church, and who believes our central doctrinal convictions as set forth in our statement of faith in Article II of this Constitution shall be eligible for membership.” (Article IV)

Responsibilities of Membership
According to our church bylaws, “Every member of this church is expected to:
  1. Submit to the authority of the leaders of the church, esteeming them very highly in love, inaccordance with Hebrews 13:17 and I Thessalonians 5:12-13.
  2. Pray for the church, its members, its leaders, and its ministries.
  3. Refrain from slander and evil speaking of one another.
  4. Support the church, in service and financially, according to his ability and the church's needs, in accordance with the Word of God.
  5. Faithfully attend the services and meetings of the church.
  6. Live a holy life according to the teaching of the Word of God, refraining from that which is destructive to the Christian life and fellowship and dishonorable to God.” (Article I.G).

Section 4: Affirmation & Signature

Having been instructed in the beliefs, principles, and practices of this church, I profess my faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe what is set forth in the Statement of Faith and I agree to abide by and support the Constitution and Bylaws of this church and to promote our unity, harmony, and purpose as a church. By the grace of God, I will seek to conform my character, conduct, and reputation to the teaching o God’s Word and to the foregoing biblical principles and will endeavor to fulfill my responsibility to the Lord and to his work in harmony with God’s people in this church.

Submit
