Part 39 of Jesus in Action: The Gospel Message of Mark – The Gospel story builds to a climax and we approach Jesus’ death in Jerusalem, and our passage this morning points us, as no other in Mark, to the meaning of that great event.  Jesus institutes a continual remembrance of the central reality of our faith.
