“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:14b
Cornerstone is a church full of families with children. Many of our activities are geared toward our youngest members:
Kids’ Worship takes place during the sermon portion of the Worship Service. It allows the children, K-4th Grade, to learn how to worship God at their own level. Singing, praying, and Bible learning happens during this fun filled time. We even have our own Missionary Moment each week, just like the grownups.
Children’s Sunday School begins in Preschool. (Nursery is available for children under 3 years old.)
Sunday School is a joyous and focused time of learning the whole Bible.
Preschoolers begin to learn about how much God loves them through the Show Me Jesus curriculum.
K-4th Graders use The Gospel Project curriculum to study the Bible chronologically over 4 years. We look to see how Jesus is in the entire Word of God, and how we should have changed lives through faith.
5th and 6th Graders discover how to study the Bible on their own, inductively, using the Discover 4 Yourself curriculum.
