Our Beliefs

We are an evangelical church, which means that our focus is on the gracious work of God revealed in his Son Jesus Christ who came to rescue us from lives lived in rebellion against God. Jesus died for our sin as a perfect atoning sacrifice and was raised from the grave as an affirmation that this sacrifice was accepted by God and that Jesus has now been made Lord of all creation. All those who recognize their need of God’s forgiveness and trust in Jesus as their Savior and confess him as their Lord are received into the family of God.

This gospel is grounded in the authority of the word of God, the Bible. The reading, study, teaching, and preaching of the Bible is central to the life of our church.

The church is to be a community that reflects the character of Jesus and his message – a community of grace and truth. We seek to focus on the major teachings of the Bible, embracing all who confess Jesus as their Savior and Lord under the authority of his Word.
