Part 14 of Judgment and Promise: God Speaks through the Prophet Jeremiah – The Lord appointed Jeremiah to be a “a prophet to the nations” (1:5).  Though his message has been directed largely to Judah, the book closes with five fiery chapters that speak of God’s majestic rule over the nations.  These words were meant to strengthen the faith of the remnant in the Babylonian exile, and they speak to us as exiles in the world.
