UPCOMING EVENTS:
AUGUST 24 FAREWELL GATHERING FOR MARJORIE COOK
Sunday, August 24th 2025
The sad rumors are true, in a few short weeks, Marjorie Cook will be relocating to Texas to a missionary retirement community. Following church service on August 24, please plan to join a farewell gathering in the church library to honor lifelong missionary Marjorie Cook and celebrate her extraordinary contributions to biblical literacy not only for Cornerstone, but for children and families around the world. First serving as a missionary to the Philippines through SIL Global for 33 years and then continuing her translation and literacy work stateside. Marjorie has been a blessing to the Cornerstone family, particularly in organizing and outfitting our library. Please plan to check out a good book and join us to honor her work and wish her well. Cards and notes welcome!
Town Hall Meeting – Make-Up Session
Sunday, August 24: 6:30–8:30 PM | Fellowship Hall
Open to all members and attenders, this Town Hall–style meeting is an opportunity to talk together as a congregation about our current budget and discuss our ministry values as a church—key inputs to shaping future budgets.
If you missed the first Town Hall, this make-up session will feature the same presentation—no new information will be shared—but you’ll still be able to hear the updates in person, ask questions, and engage in discussion.
Please register using the link provided so we can prepare seating and materials.

Mason Crest Good News Club 2025-2026
Wednesdays, 4:15-5:30pm | October 8 - March 25
Cornerstone is once again partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship to bring the Good News Club to Mason Crest Elementary! For over 10 years, our team has shared the hope of Christ with children in 1st–5th grade through songs, Scripture memory, games, Bible lessons, mission stories, and prayer.
This year, we give thanks for the many faithful volunteers who have served—including Sara & Susanna Watson, Elena & Sarah Anderson, Elena Palomino, Stephen & Dawnell Simmons, Pastor Tim & April Cho, Marge Athey, Eric Roberson, Dawn & Kai Boulter, Pauline Sison, Joellen Binder, Barbara Timm, John & Julianna Mays, Claudia Matthews, Ursula Schuttinga, and especially Marjorie Cook, who has faithfully served nearly every year and will be dearly missed.
As the Lord has graciously provided in the past, we are trusting Him again to raise up a new team of volunteers for this season. Would you prayerfully consider joining us in this ministry of reaching children with the gospel? Whether helping with games, leading songs, listening to verses, or assisting in the classroom, your presence can make an eternal difference.
