MISSION CORNER
February 15th at 4:00PM - St. Mark's Coptic Church (11911 Braddock Road)
On February 21, International Friends (IF) will be kicking off a 7-week Friday evening course in Springfield called "Alpha" designed for international students. Alpha is a well-recognized evangelistic film series to help people discover and develop a relationship with Jesus. Students will eat dinner together, watch a 20-min video, and then have a space for discussions in small groups around some of life’s biggest questions. IF would welcome Cornerstone help with dinners, assist with rides, event facilitation and steadfast prayer. Contact internationalfriends@cornerstoneefree.org to support this effort.
Thinking about a new vehicle? Families at One Voice Fellowship are in need of reliable transportation. If you've got an old, but reliable car that you're considering selling, but that could be donated.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY: SERVING AT MASON CREST ELEMENTARY WITH GOOD NEWS CLUB
Wednesday afternoons, 2/19-4/30
Please pray for our after-school Good News Club team that meets on Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm at Mason Crest Elementary as we have an upcoming need for more volunteers to serve with us. We have 12 regular attendees, K through 5th grade, 3 boys and 9 girls. From February 19 through the end of April we'll have 10 more GNC meetings at Mason Crest. Because of changed work schedules and other reasons, those are the meetings when we'll need 1 or 2 more volunteers to serve with us. Thank you.
SERVE REFUGEE FAMILIES: JOIN OUR EARLY CHILDHOOD TEAM IN ALEXANDRIA!
For the Nations DC has an immediate need for two childcare workers to serve in our daytime early childhood program. This part-time role (about 9 hours per week) provides a safe and nurturing space for the children of our adult ESOL students during morning English classes, enabling parents to focus on their studies. This position is perfect for homeschooling teens with flexible schedules or mothers with a child ages 2.5.-5 (on-site childcare may be available).

Friday, March 7th - 7:30 -9:15 PM - Sanctuary
The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Did Jesus really rise from the dead? If not, even the Apostle Paul states that without the resurrection of Jesus, the Christian faith is futile, in vain, offers no forgiveness of sins and Christians are to be pitied for their foolishness. But, if Jesus did rise from the dead, then everything changes.
Whether you’re a believer, a seeker or a skeptic, come hear the foremost expert in the world on the resurrection of Christ, Dr. Gary Habermas and his colleague, Dr. Ben Shaw as they open up the floor for questions on this immensely important question.
