Part 11 of A New Community: The Church Living Out God’s Gospel – Yes, God is concerned with how we behave, but the Christian gospel is not a list of moral rules to obey. Sin has corrupted us too deeply. We must first be changed from the inside. That is what Paul wants to impress upon his Ephesian readers (and us) in our passage this morning. When we put our faith in Christ, we become new people with a new identity and a new power. We must appropriate this truth if we are to live as we ought.
