Part 4 of Judgment and Promise: God Speaks through the Prophet Jeremiah –         “Dear children, keep yourselves from idols” (1 John 5:21). These words are as important in our day as they were in John’s, or in Jeremiah’s. This morning we look at the prophet’s critique of idolatry, which comes in the form of a comparison of idols to the Lord God.
