Part 9 of Stories with a Purpose: The Parables of Jesus – “All men seek happiness. This is without exception.” So wrote Blaise Pascal in the 17th century, and there is no question that he is right. But how are we to seek happiness? Where will it come from? What is that “highest good” that will bring us what we really desire? This is the focus of two parables we consider this morning. Here Jesus directs our attention to the supreme value of the Kingdom of God.
