Part 9 of the The Message of Hebrews – To those tempted to fall back to the religion of the Old Covenant, the author of the letter to the Hebrews asserts the greatness of what has now come in Jesus Christ. He is the fulfillment of all that the Old Testament pointed to. In our passage this morning he argues that Jesus is a better priest than any that has come before for his priesthood is “in the order of Melchizedek.”
