Part 6 of Gleaning Wisdom from the Proverbs – Friendship, writes C.S. Lewis, “has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.”  As personal creatures created in God’s own image, we are made for relationships, and friendship is one of life’s richest ways of relating.  This morning we mine the Proverbs for wisdom on friendship and look to the one who is our ultimate friend.
