Part 3 of Glimpses of Godliness in the Psalms – Awe is a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear and wonder, and though we frequently use the word “awesome,” true awe seems rare in our sophisticated age.  But awe before God is the central theme of the psalm we consider this morning.  We are called to recognize in the awesome boom of thunder the voice of God himself.  This should beckon us to worship.
