Part 4 of Misperceptions of Jesus:  Jesus, the Prophet without Honor – In a small town, where everybody knew everybody else, they thought they knew all about the first-born son of Joseph the carpenter.  So when Jesus came to town acting like a prophet or more, they couldn’t believe what they heard and saw.  This morning we consider what this scandal tells us about this mysterious Messiah and his message of the coming of God’s kingdom.
