Our mission is “to reach our neighbors in the DC area with the good news of Jesus Christ by uniting churches for prayer and evangelism.”
Reach DC is neither an evangelistic program nor an outside organization bringing a crusade to our area. Reach DC is a ground up, grass roots movement of local churches uniting to advance the Gospel in our region.
On Saturday, February 28, Reach DC is sponsoring “Equipping to Evangelize,” a conference featuring Stuart McAllister and Andy Bannister, two of the first tier teachers and evangelists with Ravi Zacharias Ministries. These men, both scholars, speak throughout the world — lecturing in university halls, preaching the Gospel in all sorts of public settings, and facing both hostile and friendly audiences.
For inspiration, instruction, and strategizing, Stuart and Andy are among the best of the best. If you enter their names on You Tube you can hear them for yourselves. Andy and Stuart will address three issues at “Equipping to Evangelize”:
• The Why of the Gospel: To inspire confidence in the Gospel as God’s power that saves today!
• The What of the Gospel: To confirm what the Gospel is and perspectives on sharing it.
• The What If of the Gospel: To instruct in how to deal with objections and questions.
The conference runs from 9:00 AM – Noon, and childcare will be provided. It will be held at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church, 3901 Gallows Road, Annandale, VA 22003. Online registration for the conference is $10 (details next week). Registration at the door is $15.
