Part 21 of the Message of Hebrews – In the passage closing this “short letter” (v. 22), our author sums up and reaffirms the “word of exhortation” which he has offered throughout. His central message is that Jesus Christ is God’s final word and that to abandon him is to abandon all. Press on in faith, he says, and don’t let anyone deceive you or distract you. This morning, taking our lead from the commands of the passage, we consider five exhortations that address us as believers.
