Part 35 of Jesus in Action: The Gospel Message of Mark – We all are want to be noticed and valued; we have a God-given desire for honor and “glory.” But in our passage this morning, Jesus gives us a model of a false glory, which is often hard to detect, and a true glory, which is often seen only in the eyes of God. If our highest duty is to love God, it is honor in his sight that must be our deepest desire.
